North Run is home to national equitation champions, successful national and international Grand Prix riders, and members of the United States Equestrian Team (USET) and the Irish Equestrian Team. Based out of North Run’s facility in Warren, VT and Wellington, FL, trainers Missy Clark and John Brennan have produced stars from the equitation ring to the international show jumping arena for the past twenty years.
North Run riders have won national equitation championships each year for the past 17 years. Most recently, Hayley Barnhill won the 2010 ASPCA Maclay Finals and the Pessoa/USEF Hunter Seat Equititaion Medal Finals. Others have gone on to become winning
Grand Prix riders and successful members of USET teams. Hillary Dobbs rose through the North Run junior ranks to be a grand prix winner in the US and Europe, a member of several winning Nations Cup Teams, and a competitor in the last two World Cup Finals.
North Run offers a full service boarding and training program based out of its beautiful Adirondack inspired facility in Warren, VT during the summer months and facilities in and around the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, FL during the winter. North
Run students compete in equitation, jumper and hunter divisions at A-rated horse shows from New England to Florida including the Winter Equestrian Festival, Devon, Lake Placid, the Hampton Classic and the entire indoor circuit.
